Curated food tour of Historic Filipinotown (HiFi, a district within Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA) in a vintage 1944 SARAO jeepney with Erik Benjamins, Aquilina Soriano-Versosa of Pilipino Workers Center, and VIA editor, Maura Lucking, for Issue 04 of VIA Publication.

Destinations included the Temple Seafood Market, Bahay Kubo, and The Park's Finest BBQ.

Conversation transcript (not displayed) includes a discussion of the Los Angeleno culinary literacy of Philippine cuisine, translation of traditional dishes by younger generation Filipinos, and the "BACKYARD BOOGIE" stories of growing up in Echo Park by Johneric Concordia (Chef at The Park's Finest BBQ).
